Project: eGrants for Girls
The Three Guineas Fund has teamed up with Groundspring.org (formerly eGrants.org) to develop a prototype online giving catalog for screened "best practice" girl-serving organization, through a $25,000 grant. Groundspring.org is an Internet foundation that facilitates online giving to social change organizations and was founded by the Tides Foundation. This prototype of an online catalog of effective, exciting girls' organizations, helps donors select nonprofits that meet their charitable goals and make online donations. Ultimately, this project may enable girl-centered organizations to build relationships with like-minded organizations; create collaborations and online exposure; access and share referral information, both online and locally, and potentially, much, much more.
